Code First: Girls Conference - Run a Session

Picture

Do you have a tech topic you're eager to discuss? Or an inspirational talk? Do you want the opportunity to deliver a session to 100+ amazing bright young women?

This year at our annual conference we're giving someone from the CF:G community the opportunity to run a workshop, panel or discussion.

What should the session be?

We're looking for something interactive, interesting, and unique, to get the audience as involved as possible. It can be anything that you think will contribute to the aims of the conference to
  1. Inspire and empower CF:G's to start careers in technology and entrepreneurship
  2. Demystify the technology industry and provide guidance on what to do to be successful

To give you an idea here are some of the sessions on the agenda:
  • a panel focused on different options for switching to a tech career
  • a workshop on "presentation skills and charisma"
  • careers fair/ CV clinic

How long should the session be?

We've set aside 40 minutes in the afternoon of the main conference agenda for one of you to share your wisdom. It'll be open to all the conference attendees.

Being part of our conference programme will mean that you are fully involved in what is set to be a fantastic experience for our wider network, as well as really boosting your personal profile to the community. Last year we were delighted to have a fantastic talk from Dimple Lalwani, CEO and Founder of Social Belly.

Let us know what you have to offer!

How do I apply?

Fill out the application form here or below, or if you have any questions email charlotte@codefirstgirls.org.uk.
